Join us at the Salt Lake Public Library on June 5 at 6:00 PM for a night of documentary screenings of the work that our student fellows have done throughout the year.

Student Fellowship

One of our foremost objectives is to empower local students. These student fellows have the chance to collaborate with our program managers in creating a short documentary that highlights a local story.

Fellows will chose a local story that they are passionate about. These stories can vary from a wide variety of subjects and issues that they would like to document.
Working with our program managers, the fellows will go out and film their story. They then edit their film with support from our in-house editing team.
After editing, we’ll help our fellows distribute the film as well as hold a Fellowship Showcase Night where we will exhibit each of the student fellowship projects to the public, give each filmmaker an opportunity to talk about their piece, and answer any questions about their work.
